Mackmyra Preludium is a series of six limited-edition bottlings from Mackmyra in Sweden, featuring some of the distillery’s very first releases. Each expression represents an aspect of how Mackmyra creates its single malt. Mackmyra Preludium 03 is the distillery’s first sherry-finished single malt. It was bottled on 13 October 2006 at 52.2%, and has a great fruity taste with a light smokiness. Notes of sweet raisins, dried figs and dates are complemented by hints of honey, chocolate and creaminess. One of 17000 bottles.
